Easy Day Makeup- Inspired by Lauren Conrad
Do you love Lauren Conrad's effortless makeup that makes her look California chic? These tips will help you achieve this look and even list a few products that worked for me! Please not that the products mentioned are just what I used, which is why in the actual how to step I do not specify a product. Hope you guys like it!
1. Use any concealer you have to conceal blemishes- also place this on the sides of the nose, under the eyes, and on your eyelids. Product I used- Mac Studio Finish Concealer
3. Using a blush brush apply a peachy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks up into your temples- remember to try and make this look natural. Product i used- Laura Mercier blush in Barely Pink
4. On your eyelids apply a neutral tan/beige color using a flat shader brush. Product I used- Pixi Palette in No. 12 "Pastels"
5. Apply a very natural brown color to your crease- Remember to blend this out!! Product I used- Chanel Eyeshadow Duo in Desert Rose
6. Use a matte white eyeshadow and apply it right below your brow bone and in your inner corners to highlight your natural bone structure. Product I used- Trish McEvoy Eyeshadow in Bone
7. Using a cream, gel, or liquid eyeliner apply it thick towards the outer part of your eyeliner and make it become thinner as it gets closer to the inner part of your eyelid- Product I used- Smashbox Cream Eyeliner in Caviar
8. Apply one coat of a lengthening mascara and one coat of a thickening mascara. Focus the mascara on your outer lashes to make them seem extended. Products I used- Fresh Mini Mascaras in Supernova and Firebird
10. For lips apply a nude pink lipstick and over that apply an orange/coral lipgloss. Make sure not to overdo the lipgloss because orange can easily be overdone and look gross! To avoid this just dab a little of the lipgloss on your lips, then smooth it out. Products I used MAC Lipstick in Hue and NARS lipgloss in Sunset Strip
And your done! You can finish of your look by wearing one of LC's staple clothing items like a blazer or loose tee and by braiding your hair like Lauren!
Catch you guys later!
Scarlett
